Except for a huge old oak tree this back yard lacked personality. Extensive paving covered much of the ground and the few existing plants were overgrown. All paving was removed and a new walkway, patio, steps and privacy fence were installed. An assortment of woodland plants including many Rhode Island natives were planted. The homeowner's father will be building birdhouses to top off the new custom-designed fence.
